A Large Stoneware Fruit Bowl/ Charger, the dished body with raised everted and flared reddish brown oxide banded rim, featuring incised wavy sgraffito decoration, further embellished with trailing abstract leafy tendrils and floral motifs, in shades of cobalt, brown and celadon on an oatmeal ground, on a circular base, impressed potter’s studio mark to the unglazed underside (Height: 6.5cm, diameter: 42.5cm) PLUS a smaller stoneware bowl, grey speckled glazed body with naive leafy and berry decoration, on a circular foot rim, impressed studio mark (Height: 4cm, diameter: 16.5cm) (Condition report: Firing crack and glaze imperfection evident to rim)
