the baluster-shaped body with rising neck and everted and flared rim, featuring hand painted Iznik-style curvilinear arabesques of interlaced foliage, divided by an iron red band depicting a leafy-scroll band on an indigo blue ground with azure highlights, over stylised hand painted polychrome sprays of flowering tulips, crocuses, dahlias and wild carnations, amongst foliage issuing from the rockwork, in colours of turquoise, lapis bleu, purple, orange and black, enclosed by tulip sprig and floral boss adorned spandrels, on a conforming decorated circular rising base, signed by the artist on the underside of the base and dated ’96(Height: 50.5cm, diameter: 16.3cm)
