Shape no. 1370, CS date letter code – 1973, the dished tin glazed earthenware body with raised rim, featuring a central hand painted underglazed cobalt blue floral medallion in the well, enclosed by a band of cascading berry, foliage and crocus flowerheads, surrounded by a fruit, flower and acanthus leaf motifs, alternating with scrolled spandrel panels, embellished with quatrefoil stylised blossom motifs, on a circular base with factory marks and signed with the artist’s initials KOO (R.M. Koopmans, active 1965-1974) on the underside (Diameter: 23cm)
