Shape: Countess, fluted, production issued 1930s-1950s, Reg no. 816998, comprising: 6 x demitasse cups and saucers, 1 x matching mocha pot with domed and finialled cover, 1 x creamer and 1 x sugar bowl, all embellished with polychrome transfer printed garden scenes and cascading blossoms on the interior of each cup and adorned with gilt overglaze decoration, each stamped on the underside: with the blue Crown China backstamp and inscribed: Supplied to Her Majesty Queen Mary (Condition report: Good, very minor wear to gilding, consistent with age and rarely used) (Tallest height: 19.5cm)
