Shape no. 705, pattern no. V 5006, the dished and ribbed body, featuring a central finely handpainted naturalistic scene in the well, depicting a black gilt overglazed blossoming tree with cascading wisteria motifs, amongst foliage, further embellished with butterflies in flight, in enamelled colours of pink, light blue, turquoise and orange on an iridescent lustre glazed ground, surrounded by a gilt overglazed banded rim, with factory backstamp on the underside (Diameter: 29.5cm)
